Materials
- 250 g barley from Zeas flour
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 3 stalks of celery
- 1 small tomato
- 60 g of sun-dried tomato
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tbsp granulated onion
- 1 κουταλια γλυκού τζίντζερ τριμμένο
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt Pepper
Implementation
Clean and cut the vegetables into small pieces. In a saucepan, saute the onion, carrot and celery with the olive oil. Then add the tomato, the spices and a glass of water. Let it boil. Lower the heat, add the barley, the parsley and mix at regular intervals. Add as much water as needed during cooking. Check the taste, adjusting accordingly. We can serve with some black cumin.
